Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for being elected President of Brazil, wishing him success in realising the ambitions of the Brazilian people for development and prosperity.
In a post in his social media accounts, President Sisi expressed his aspiration for joint work with President da Silva to deepen the friendly relations between Egypt and Brazil in various fields.
He also invited the Brazilian leader to come to Egypt to participate in the COP27 global climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh next month.
“I am confident that Brazil is able to play a positive and constructive role during this highly anticipated summit to advance climate action at international level,” the president said.
