Sisi, Bahrain king discuss regional challenges over phone

The Bahraini king lauded efforts exerted by President Sisi to reinforce security and stability at the regional and international levels, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The two leaders stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to face challenges besetting the region to maintain Arab national security, the spokesman added.

For his part, President Sisi praised ties with Bahrain, affirming the need for unifying stances to serve Arab issues.

Gulf security is an integral part of Egypt’s national security, Sisi told the king.
