President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended a working dinner hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday evening for leaders and heads of government of BRICS member and partner countries.
The dinner was held on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit.
The dinner brought together a large number of heads of state and government, delegation leaders and representatives of international and regional organisations.
The discussions focused on means to consolidate partnership and expand co-operation between BRICS members and partner countries.
They covered political consultations and mechanisms for addressing current international crises, as well as economic and development co-operation, amid the challenges facing the Global South and emerging and developing economies.
