President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the Armed Forces apply all technical criteria in selecting the best elements among those wishing to join military colleges, academies and institutes from all segments of society with full fairness and transparency.
Sisi made the remarks as he attended on Thursday admission tests for potential candidates at the headquarters of the Military Academy in Cairo.
Upon arrival, the president was welcomed by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and Army Chief of Staff Osama Askar.
The applicants accepted are set to continue the mission of defending Egypt’s security and stability after being prepared in accordance with state-of-the-art methods and programs of technical, physical and military training, Sisi said.
The president discussed with the applicants a number of topics and issues at the local, regional and international levels, praising in this regard their high level of awareness.
He also urged them to arm themselves with science and knowledge, as well as to continue studying regularly in order to be able to stand up to all challenges of the Egyptian State, alongside their peers at civil universities and institutes.
He wished them success in their admission tests.
