Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi signed law no 172 of 2022 for amending some provisions of the telecommunications regulation law no 10 of 2003.
President Sisi also signed law no 173 of 2022 on amending some provisions of law no 84 of 2017 on compensation of contracts of contracting, supply and public services.
President Sisi issued presidential decree no. 399 of 2022 approving a simplified agreement between Egypt’s Ministry of International Co-operation and French Development Agency (AFD) on renovating the railway of Tanta/Masoura/Damietta.
The agreement includes a loan from the AFD to Egypt with a total of 95 million euros and a grant of 2 million euros inked on March 28 in 2022.
The presidential decree was published in the official gazette on Thursday.
