ARISH, Egypt – Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi said Sinai has a large share of the comprehensive development Egypt is witnessing in all sectors thanks to the political leadership that had been keen to eliminate terrorism, reconstruct Sinai and bring about development there.
Sobhi made the remarks as he inaugurated a developed football pitch at Negmat Sinai (Sinai star) club in the North Sinai governorate.
The minister praised the role played by Sinai residents in the reconstruction process carried out on the peninsula.
Meanwhile, Sobhi laid the foundation stone for the directorate of youth and sports in North Sinai as part of his ministry’s plan to develop its affiliated facilities, youth centers and clubs across all governorates.
