The British newspaper The Guardian has recommended that travellers visit Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada, highlighting the two destinations as offering the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

In a report titled “Relaxation and adventure – where to find the best of both in Egypt, Mexico and the Canary Islands,” the newspaper noted that with the arrival of summer and the return of sunny weather, many travellers begin planning their next holiday. While some visitors seek peaceful days on the beach or relaxation by the pool, others look for exploration, outdoor activities, and breathtaking natural scenery.

Egypt, the report noted, is renowned for its vibrant markets, stunning beaches, and a wide range of water sports, both above and beneath the warm turquoise waters of the Red Sea, making it a standout travel destination.

Stretching along the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Sharm El-Sheikh boasts nearly 22 miles of coastline, where pristine white sands lead to a captivating underwater world rich with coral reefs, colourful fish, and sea turtles. Among its most renowned attractions is Ras Mohammed National Park, widely regarded as one of the world’s premier diving destinations, The Guardian explained.

Hurghada, another popular resort city along the western coast of the Red Sea, offers pristine golden beaches and a broad range of water sports. Windsurfing is particularly popular thanks to the area’s shallow lagoons and warm northwesterly winds that blow throughout the year, making the city an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure, the British newspaper elaborated.
