Egypt has received the second shipment of immune globulin, Factor VIII and human albumin medicines derived from Egyptian human plasma supplies and manufactured at the factory of Spanish drugmaker Grifols.
The human plasma was collected at donation centers of Grifols Egypt.
This came as part of the Armed Forces’ efforts to support the medical system and achieve self-sufficiency in plasma-derived medicines.
This falls within the framework of close cooperation between the “Grifols Egypt” company, affiliated with the National Service Projects Agency for the Armed Forces, and “Griffols Egypt” company and Grifols of Spain, a leader in the field of plasma derivatives.
The move contributes to providing one of the most important and vital medicines that can be used for emergency and intensive care cases, burns, liver and kidney diseases, in addition to many other diseases.
