Egypt’s General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has achieved the highest annual revenues in its history, recording LE15.9 billion during the 2025/2026 fiscal year, which ended on June 30.
In a statement released on Saturday, the SCZone revealed that this performance exceeded its budget target of LE10.5 billion by 51 per cent.
The total also marks a 37 per cent increase compared to the LE11.6 billion recorded in the final accounts for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, reflecting sustained momentum across its operational and investment activities.
The authority highlighted that US dollar revenues reached $246 million, accounting for 76 per cent of total income in FY 2025/2026.
The statement added that the high proportion of foreign currency income underscores SCZone’s success in diversifying its revenue streams and ensuring long-term financial stability.
