The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) was named as the best Arab government institution in the second edition of the Arab Government Excellence Award.
SCA Chairman Osama Rabie received the award on Thursday during a ceremony held at the Arab League (AL) premises here to announce the winners of Arab Government Excellence Awards.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was also picked as the best Arab ministry.
This Arab competition is organised under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE.
