Republican decree pardoning some convicts on Sinai Liberation Day, Eid

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued on Tuesday decree No. 155 of 2022 pardoning some convicts on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day and Eid al-Fitr.

A higher security committee under the assistant interior minister for the Prisons Authority has been formed to look into the release of the convicts. The decree has been published in the official gazette.
