SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt – Egyptian Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad announced that the registration for the participation in the green zone of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the UNFCCC will be opened within the upcoming few days.
The registration will be in line with certain conditions that ensure highlighting the success stories and the unique environmental experiences, the minister said during her visit to Sharm El Sheikh International Convention Center (SHICC) on Friday.
The minister’s visit comes as part of preparations for the COP27, which will be held in Sharm El Sheikh in November.
The green zone will serve as the exhibition area for the gathering of youth groups, civil society, different ministries to shed light on the success stories and the game-changing ideas that address the negative impacts of climate change, she added.
