Mohamed Abdelsalam, head of the Readymade Garments & Textiles Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) said on Wednesday the first exhibition for exporting women and men apparel that will be held in Cairo from January 26- to January 28 will be a great opportunity for the export sector and all affiliated industrial factories.
The event will be held at the Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC).
The head of the Readymade Garments & Textiles Chamber at the FEI said the Egypt Expo & Convention Authority (EECA) has approved supporting participation of 200-300 visitors from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Palestine, Uganda, and Jordan in the exhibition.
According to Abdelsalam, the event is of especial importance; being a golden opportunity, especially amid the current economic conditions and soaring products’ prices that all necessitate floating unconventional marketing schemes for small and medium industrial facilities.
All drives are aimed at generating foreign currency to help industrial entities import required nuts and bolts, with a view to supporting the State’s plan for increasing exports, he said.
