Egypt’s Ambassador to Italy, Bassam Rady, received at the embassy headquarters His Grace Bishop Bernaba, Bishop of Torino, who extended his greetings on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
The visit was accompanied by Father Theophilus Al-Suryani, Father Antonio Gimi, and Father Barnaba Samuel.
The meeting was marked by a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting a spirit of goodwill and co-operation, and served as an opportunity to underscore the strong fraternal ties between the Church and Egyptian diplomacy at large.
During the meeting, Ambassador Rady also inquired about the conditions of the Egyptian Coptic community in Italy, affirming that the embassy, its offices, and all its staff remain fully committed to serving members of the broad Egyptian community residing across all regions of Italy.
