ISMAILIA – Suez Canal Authority Chairman Osama Rabie said new locomotives will join the waterway fleet by the end of the year for total locomotives to become six.
This falls within the framework of efforts to promote Suez Canal efficiency to remain at the leading position.
During a phone call late Wednesday with Al Nahar satellite channel, he said new locomotives will work under top-notch maritime technology.
He added that the authority’s strategic plan aims at having 22 locomotives within four years
