President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued Presidential Decree No. 301 of 2026 granting pardons to a number of convicted prisoners for the remainder of their sentences to mark the 74th anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution.
The decree was published in the Official Gazette on Sunday.
The Egyptian Gazette is the oldest English-language daily newspaper in the Middle East.
It was first published on January 26, 1880 and it is part of El Tahrir Printing and Publishing House.
