CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi greeted all employees at the State’s administrative apparatus on the UN Public Service Day, which is marked on June 23.
In an article on the administrative development magazine issued by the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, President Sisi said “I greet all employees at the State’s administrative apparatus on the occasion of celebrating the international Public Service Day.”
This day recalls the human and moral values of work, diligence and love of homeland, which are the firm basis of public service, Sisi said.
“Hard work and diligence are high values… however, the love of the homeland is a great honor shared only by the loyal people, who are the supporting pillars of their country,” President Sisi said.
Eight years have passed since the administrative reform plan was drawn up, the president stressed, saying “We can now reap the fruits of our work. We have accomplished a lot in the past years, but we still have a lot to do.”
Sisi hoped that the State’s administrative apparatus would contribute to the process of development in the country “in a way that befits us, our values and civilization.”
The move to the New Administrative Capital signals the entry of the State’s administrative apparatus into a new phase that establishes the “New Republic”, in which the values of justice, good governance and equal opportunities prevail, President Sisi said.
He concluded by expressing his appreciation of great efforts made by employees at the State’s administrative apparatus, renewing his call to all Egyptians to exert more effort to maintain what has been achieved and to complete the process of development, construction and reform.
Nations are not built with fervent wishes, but are built by the hands of their loyal people, President Sisi concluded.
