CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed to implement the local development programme in all Upper Egypt governorates in the coming three years, Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy said Saturday.
Shaarawy made his remarks at a meeting with a delegation from the World Bank (WB).
President Sisi also was keen to follow up the latest developments on the progress of the program carried out in Qena and Sohag governorates, the minister said.
The executive plan was referred to the prime minister, while the Local Development Ministry has been tasked with coordinating with relevant ministries to have the necessary technical support from the WB, Shaarawy added.
