CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Wednesday US President-elect Donald Trump on winning the US 2024 presidential election.
In a post on his official Facebook account the Egyptian president said : “I extend my sincere congratulations to the American President-elect, Donald Trump. I wish him all the best and success in achieving the interests of the American people. We are looking forward to achieving peace together, maintaining regional peace and stability and strengthening the strategic partnership relations between Egypt, the United States and their friendly peoples.”
The President added: “The two countries have always presented a model of cooperation and have succeeded together in achieving common interests of the two friendly countries, which is mainly what we are looking forward to amid the current serious circumstances the world is going through.”
