President Abdel Fattah El Sisi strongly condemned the recent Iranian attack on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reaffirming Egypt’s full solidarity with the UAE and its steadfast support in confronting such aggression.
During a phone call on Tuesday with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Sisi reasserted the need to intensify efforts to contain the crisis and prevent further escalation, warning of the grave consequences such developments could have on regional security and stability, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el-Shennawy said.
The phone call reflected the depth of ties between Egypt and the UAE, as well as their shared commitment to preserving regional peace and security, the presidency spokesman added.
