President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has made a phone call with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday and affirmed Egypt’s firm stance towards the Palestinian cause.
During the call, the President also stressed that Egypt would maintain its tireless efforts in close coordination with Palestinians and international partners to crystallize a clear vision for pushing forward peace efforts and settling the conflict in accordance with international resolutions and references.
The Palestinian president expressed appreciation for Egypt’s relentless efforts and appreciated endeavors in support of the Palestinian cause. He also referred to deep and special Egyptian-Palestinian relations in light of extended ties between the two peoples.
