Political leadership keen to support Lebanon’s stability, sovereignty

CAIRO – The political leadership is keen on supporting Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty, affirmed Egypt’s Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Morsi. 

This came in a speech delivered by the ambassador during a reception held on the occasion marking the 72nd anniversary of the July 23rd Revolution.

The ambassador, meanwhile, underlined the close ties binding Egypt and Lebanon. 

Based on the longstanding ties binding Egypt and Lebanon, Egypt is keen on supporting Lebanon’s sovereignty, and is doing everything it can to help it exit from the current political and economic crises, said the ambassador, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
