Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Tuesday said that the government is interested in regulating the activities of companies operating in the field of upgrading information technology and computer programs.
At a meeting with representatives of upgrading computer and information technology companies, he added that the government is working on developing some sectors including industry, especially vehicle industry, and telecommunications.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies Amr Talaat and Minister of Public Business Sector Hisham Tawfiq along with Minister of Trade and Industry Neven Gamea.
The prime minister said that the meeting is aimed at listening to ideas by the representatives of these companies and reviewing their efforts for upgrading this sector.
