Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted Wednesday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is keen on communicating with effective international players in order to push forward efforts to halt ceasefire, protect civilians and ensure humanitarian aid access in order to finally realize a just and comprehensive settlement to Palestinian cause.

He highlighted Egypt’s efforts at the political, diplomatic and humanitarian levels with regard to the current crisis in the Gaza Strip.

He made the remarks during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday in the New Administrative Capital.

Madbouli noted that he participated in the launch of the largest humanitarian convoy to the Palestinians in Gaza from Tahya Misr Fund in line with directives of President Sisi.

The premier reviewed also the opening of a factory and inspection of nine factories in Obour and 10th of Ramadan cities, underlining the state’s interest in encouraging the private sector.

He also referred to inaugurating the 2023 Cairo ICT on behalf of the president, stressing the key role of technology in realizing development.
