Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli met on Wednesday with representatives of Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power to discuss the timeline for implementing a green hydrogen project at the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).
The project is estimated to cost some four billion dollars.
Earlier in the day, the framework agreement was signed to start implementation of the project.
Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker said that further coordination with ACWA Power will be seen in the coming stage.
