Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting Wednesday to probe the project of establishing an integrated industrial complex for steel flats production in cooperation with a global company at total investments of one billion dollars.
Cabinet’s Spokesman Nader Saad said the meeting witnessed the approval of setting up the industrial complex for manufacturing steel flats products in cooperation with a global company.
The project is aiming to deepen and strengthen local manufacture and scale up exports to global markets, added Saad.
He said the production capacity of the project reaches 1.8 million tons.
The project will serve the domestic market and provides 6,500 direct and indirect job opportunities, according to the spokesman.
