Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli met Sunday Remon Vos, chairman and founder of CTPark, a major network of integrated system of full-service business parks.

During the meeting, the prime minister praised CTPark’s expertise, noting that the company had acquired this expertise over years of work in Europe.

He also welcomed the CTPark’s plans to invest in Egypt, a process which is expected to include the transfer of its expertise in the construction and management of business parks to the Arab country.

The prime minister instructed the General Investment Authority and Free Zones to maintain discussions with the company’s officials to consider the best models for the implementation of its projects, including a proposed partnership with the Egyptian government.

The CTPark’s chief, for his part, said his company would invest between $300 and $600 million in Egypt over the next five years.

CTPark, Vos said, would establish a business park on 2 million square meters of land in Cairo.

The new business park will create 14,000 direct jobs, he said during the meeting with the prime minister.

Business parks usually contain high-quality buildings and facilities to be used by businesses, he noted.

CTPark has a 22-year experience behind it, operating in all parts of Europe, the company’s chairman said.

The company has been especially active in industry and logistical development, he added.

He said his company usually launches long-term investments by owning land for the construction of industrial facilities.

This contributes to the attraction of investments and the creation of jobs, he stressed.

CTPark owns more than 6.3 million square meters of land in more than 100 areas. Over 700 major international companies that represent a wide range of industries also work with the network.

The business park to be established by CTPark in Cairo will contain a logistical center, research centers and a center for experimentation, the company’s chief said.

It will also contain an entrepreneurship center, a small businesses and industries zone and major warehouses for logistical activities, he added.
