DOHA – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli lauded Qatar’s supportive stand to Egypt and Sudan vis-a-vis the Ethiopia dam issue.
Qatar has stressed several times the importance of reaching a balanced, just and binding agreement serving the interests of Egypt, Sudan and all Nile Basin countries, Madbouli noted.
He added that Qatar has also called for avoiding unilateral measures that would harm other Nile Basin countries.
He made the remarks on Tuesday in an interview with the Qatari news agency QNA.
He highlighted a boost in the Egyptian-Qatari ties at all levels, referring to the visits exchanged between the leaders of both countries last year.
