CAIRO- Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inaugurated on Wednesday the 54th Cairo International Book Fair accompanied by a number of ministers, including Culture Minister Niven el-Kilany in addition to representatives of governmental, national, Arab and international pavilions.
As many as 1,047 publishing houses from 53 countries are taking part in the event.
The fair will be open to the public as of Thursday.
