Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underlined the importance of following up digital transformation of the government district in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) as ministries start moving gradually to the new capital.
He made the remarks on Tuesday during a meeting to follow up digital transformation in NAC.
The meeting was attended by NAC Chairman Khaled Abbas, Deputy CEO of Telecom Egypt Mohamed Fawi and Head of the central IT administration at the Ministry of Telecommunication and IT Mahmoud Fakhr.
The meeting tackled the latest developments with regard to the digital transformation project and the IT infrastructure as well as how far the ministerial buildings are ready, Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad said.
The conferees highlight that the main data center was accomplished by 100 percent and the internet service in targeted governmental buildings is being piloted.
Training sessions were held digital transformation units workers and efforts are underway to prepare training sessions for employees at ministries and bodies due to relocate to the Administrative Capital in the second stage.
