Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Sunday held a meeting to follow up on the progress made in developing the area surrounding the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
The meeting was attended by Giza Governor Ahmed Rashid, Shaker Younis, the governorate’s secretary general, and officials of the consulting office responsible for developing the area surrounding the GEM.
The premier issues directives for starting the development of roads and axes nearby the museum at once.
Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said the prime minister was briefed on the designs and colors of various barriers on the ring road, as well as proposals for creating artworks on prominent Egyptian personalities and lighting systems down the road.
