Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli lauded the role played by the cabinet’s higher medical committee in monitoring and receiving complaints with regard to the medical and healthcare file in coordination with the bodies and ministries concerned.
He made the remarks while following up on the efforts exerted by the committee during August in light of a report filed by Hossam Masri, the head of the committee and the cabinet’s medical adviser.
The report said that the committee responded to about 1,093 cases detected through the media and the social media, referring to issuing 237 decisions for treatment at state expense.
About 4,740 people underwent check-up with the help of medical convoys in Beheiria and Monofiya during the past month, according to the report.
