Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has reiterated Egypt’s strong support for the Palestinian people and their lawful rights.
Those rights are backed by international legitimacy resolutions and international law, Madbouli said in a speech during a joint press conference with his visiting Palestinian counterpart Mohamed Ashatteya.
“I welcome the Palestinian premier and his accompanying high-ranking ministerial delegation… in Egypt,” Madbouli told reporters at the Cabinet’s HQ in the New Administrative Capital Wednesday.
Today’s official talks with the Palestinian delegation are the first to be ever held at the new HQ of the government, Madbouli said, noting that this will always remain for the record.
