PM discusses mechanism for operating NACCUD

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli presided over a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the mechanism of managing and operating the New Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development (NACCUD).

The meeting was attended by Justice Minister Omar Marwan, the company’s chairman, Ahmed Zaki Abdeen, in addition to senior officials.

During the meeting, Madbouli said subsidiaries affiliated with the New Administrative Capital Company will be established to manage and operate the New Administrative Capital (NAC)’s facilities as per an agreement reached with the relevant ministries.

He stressed that this step aims at finding a mechanism for the company’s management of utilities and services in the NAC, in a way that contributes to improving the services provided to residents and preserving large-scale investments there.

For his part, the company’s chairman said the New Administrative Capital is the largest smart city on the land of Egypt, providing a very comfortable lifestyle for its residents in accordance with the latest international standards.

It also takes into account the requirements of green transformation and digitization in its current and future projects, he said.

The city also includes many promising investment opportunities, he added.
