CAIRO- The “Decent Life” presidential initiative is considered one of the biggest development initiatives in Egypt’s history, affirmed Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
During chairing a meeting on Monday to follow up on the executive position of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, Madbouli added that work is under way to finalize the implementation of the first phase of “Decent Life” initiative in order to start implementing the second phase, which covers 1,600 villages.
The initiative reflects an unprecedented transformation of the Egyptian countryside, he said, adding that it aims to improve the standard of living, infrastructure, and basic services of vast swathes of the countryside.
The meeting also tackled the executive status of the projects which are implemented in various areas, including education, health, social protection, agriculture, electricity, and youth centres.
