Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, earlier on Wednesday 23/8/2023 to attend the 15th summit meetings of the BRICS.
Madbouli is due to attend the summit, themed “BRICS and Africa: Partnership for Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development and Inclusive Multilateralism”, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The BRICS meetings kicked off here on Tuesday 22/8/2023and will last until Thursday 24/8/2023.
Madbouli is scheduled to attend a banquet and cultural ceremony organized by President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa in honor of leaders of the attending delegations.
The Egyptian premier will deliver a speech Thursday and will hold meetings with representatives of a number of companies.
