RAMALLAH – Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) Wasel Abu Yousef asserted Monday Egypt is exerting strenuous efforts to stop the genocide against the Palestinians.
Egypt spares no effort to ensure the safe and sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid, medical supplies and foodstuffs into the Gaza Strip, added Abu Yousef in remarks to Al Qahera News channel.
He also commended the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian position that is rejecting the forced displacement policy.
Abu Yousef said the priority at present is to stop the aggressive war and bloodshed and pressure the occupation to allow the entry of medical assistance, foodstuffs, humanitarian aid and fuel into the coastal enclave.
He said he is rejecting the displacement policy and underscored the necessity of reaching a political solution that calls for establishing an independent Palestinian state, with al Quds as its capital.
Without that, there will be no peace in the region, he warned.
