Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday, a document that will allow the IDA to enlist the services of the mobile technological centres in bettering its work.
The document was signed in the presence of Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouli.
The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), said the signing of the MoU compliments state efforts to make its administrative apparatus more efficient and achieve sustainable development.
“It also reflects the Planning Ministry’s interest in offering better government services and speeding up the finalization of investment procedures,” the minister said after the signing of the MoU.
She added that the MoU would contribute to boosting cooperation between the two sides in the provision of fully-equipped mobile technological centres, serving as branches for the IDA in different governorates, so that it can offer automated services to investors.
Under the MoU, the minister said, the IDA’s workers would also be trained in strategic management and government excellence.
“Our ministry will designate a platform for this training,” Minister el-Saeed said.
She added that the Ministry of Planning would also deliver vehicles for the IDA to serve as mobile technological centres.
