CAIRO – Egyptian Planning and Economic Development Minister and chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) Hala el-Saaed presided over the meetings of the board of directors of the four sub-funds, affiliated to the TSFE.
The Planning Ministry said in a statement on Monday that the minister, during the meetings, asserted that the priorities that govern the strategic plans of the four sub-funds of TSFE are to create wealth for coming generations by maximising the return on state-owned assets and attract local and foreign investors to invest directly in various projects in Egypt.
The plans also aim at developing assets, providing the largest number of opportunities for the private sector, setting up constructive partnerships to localise advanced industries and technologies and giving priority to strategic development projects, the minister said.
The meetings aim at agreeing on the strategic plans of each fund, and following up their implementation, the minister further noted.
