The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources inked a co-operation protocol to benefit from the services presented by the unified national network for emergency and public safety in its activities.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said that the protocol comes within the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to establish a network for emergency and public safety to be the cornerstone of communications of the administrative bodies of the state and generalise the use of its services, potentials and applications to achieve full control and co-operation of all the bodies concerned within the framework of a fully-secured developed wireless network.
This comes according to the global standards to quickly contain and face all the urgent stances and support the plans of sustainable development, in addition to following up the national projects, said the ministry.
The protocol aims at highlighting technical needs of the network which is operated by developed wireless IT technology, it added.
It also aims at building an integrated system to manage emergencies and crises according to global standards, in addition the operation and determining the priorities of meeting the technical demands from the services and potentials of the unified national network to implement the national strategy to build digital Egypt and improve the governmental performance, according to it.
