House of Representatives Speaker Hanafy el Gebely Tuesday greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the anniversary of Al-Israa and Al-Miraj.
In a cable of greetings, Gebaly said: “In such pleasant days, Al-Israa and Al-Miraj anniversary evokes the virtues of patience and steadfastness in the face of challenges.”
The speaker, on behalf of the lawmakers, expressed greetings and heartfelt wishes for further welfare and prosperity.
Al-Israa and Al-Miraj occasion refers to a miraculous journey the Prophet Muhammad took in one night from Mecca to Jerusalem and then an ascension to the heavens.
