Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League (AL) Muhannad al Aklouk has accused Israel of committing a genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which is a crime punishable under international law.
Aklouk’s remarks came at a special session of the Arab Media Leaders Forum, which is organized by the AL’s General Secretariat (Media and Communication Sector) under the rubric “Arab Media In Defiance of False Narration On Israeli Aggression On Gaza” on Thursday.
“Each of us has lost a sister, uncle or relative, and we have come here to expose these crimes committed by Israel before the very eyes of the world community,” he said.
“We are accusing Israel of committing genocide crimes to decimate the Palestinian people in Gaza.”
He added that “this blind, deaf and racist world community is dependent on the Israeli-Zionist theory and narrative that differentiate between a child and a child, a woman and a woman, a race and a race, a religion and a religion.”
