CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Saturday a phone call from his Pakistani counterpart Shah Qureshi who hailed Egypt’s efforts to reach a ceasefire between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the call discussed means to foster coordination at the regional an international arenas including the OIC to support efforts aiming at ending the current crisis as well as reaching a permanent and overall solution to the Palestinian cause that is based on the international legitimacy, including establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The ministers also discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations in all fields
