Prime Minister Dr Moustafa Madbouli asserted Egypt spares no effort to pushing forward the African position on climate change issues.
Madbouli thanked African countries for their confidence in choosing Egypt to play host to the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC on behalf of Africa.
Madbouli’s remarks were made while participating in a meeting of the office of the African Union (AU) on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi via videoconferencing on Monday.
The meeting discussed several of the continent’s issues on the agenda of the conference. It is attended by Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi, the chair of the AU and a galaxy of heads of state.
