Over 6,000 medical and development services were provided to citizens through the presidential “100 Million Healthy Lives” initiative, as well as hospital referral and follow-up services, last month, North Sinai Undersecretary of Health Amr Adel Abdel Aal said.
In a statement issued on Friday, Abdel Aal added that medical teams have maintained a strong presence across medical centers, public squares, villages, and residential communities throughout the governorate to ensure comprehensive healthcare reaches every citizen and to facilitate access to medical services.
Meanwhile, Norhan Nasser, Coordinator of the Presidential Health Initiatives in North Sinai, said that the presidential initiatives and development services witnessed strong public turnout during June, resulting in the delivery of nearly 6,000 medical services.
She added that awareness efforts were also intensified through the organisation of 9,000 health awareness seminars aimed at promoting public awareness of reproductive health, women’s and children’s health, and public health initiatives.
For her part, Ashgan Gharib, Director of Family Development at the Health Directorate, said that 5,198 beneficiaries received free family planning methods during June as part of the state’s efforts to strengthen reproductive health services.
She noted that this significant achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of medical teams and community outreach teams, which continue to raise health awareness and provide medical guidance to citizens.
