Navy rescues 31 migrants from stranded vessel

The Egyptian Navy successfully rescued 31 individuals from various nationalities on a migrant vessel that encountered mechanical failure 130 nautical miles off the coast of Sallum.

The navy received a distress call about a malfunctioning vessel carrying migrants. The General Command of the Armed Forces responded quickly and dispatched naval units to provide support and relief. The rescue units, equipped with necessary medical and administrative supplies, swiftlycarried out the rescue and evacuation operations.

Naval forces managed to rescue 30 individuals, including five in critical condition. Tragically, one person was found dead. The rescued individuals were handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.
