The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that Gamal Abdel Nasser’s Fellowship for International Leadership in its fourth batch has received generous auspices from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, which is scheduled to be held next June 2023 under the slogan ‘Non-Aligned Youth and the South-South Co-operation’. This comes with the aim to transfer the Egyptian experience in building institutions.
The Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, during its previous batch, has received a strong international praise on a large scale and on several levels, whether at the level of participants from the continents of the world such as youth leaders in national councils, or at the level of decision-makers and diplomats.
It also resulted in many forms of co-operation at the international level among the graduates of the fellowship, which is considered as a real indicator of the success of the fellowship in achieving the sustainability through investing in youth, and that is what the political leadership seeks, based on its development agenda 2030.
The fellowship has previously received the auspices of President Sisi, during its second batch, which was launched in June 2021 under the slogan ‘South-South Co-operation’, with the participation of young leaders from the continents of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The Fellowship has also received the auspices of the president in its third batch, which was held in June 2022, as it expanded to include friendly countries and sought to enhance the role of youth in reviving the principles of non-alignment between the global souths.
