Egyptian Minister of Public Business Sector Hesham Tawfik witnessed on Tuesday the signing of a consultation agreement between Nasr Automobile Company and FEV Consulting of Germany.
In a statement, the Ministry of Public Business Sector said the contract stipulates following up the management of the project of electric vehicle production with Nasr which will start rolling out its manufactured vehicles in 2023.
The deal comes within the framework of the cooperation with the German company that started in November 2021, under which FEV recommends a number of global manufacturers of electric cars that are compatible with the standards set by Nasr.
Nasr chose one of the recommended companies and a memorandum of understanding between the two sides is expected to be signed before the end of April as contracts are set to be inked before mid-2022.
