CAIRO/MORONI – The mufti of the United Republic of Comoros has spoken highly of the 28th International Quran Contest, which was organised by the Egyptian Awqaf Ministry on December 11-15.
The contest, which was held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, was successful, the mufti of the Comoros said Monday in a message to the Egyptian Awqaf Minister, Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.
Egypt is the country of Quran that will always act to promote the moderate teachings of Islam all over the world, he noted.
