Advisor to the mufti Ibrahim Negm said Monday that Egypt has an integrated vision of how to achieve intellectual security in the region and the world.
False ideas and concepts must be countered through the use of AI techniques, Negm said in an interview with Nile News.
Al Azhar and the Egyptian Ifta House provide an umbrella for all fatwa bodies worldwide, especially in light of the global challenges facing the intellectual security system, Negm said.
There is no better place than Egypt to offer such an integrated vision of intellectual security, he said, noting that it combines both authenticity and modernity, and reality and correct understanding of legal texts.
Negm was speaking on the fringe of an international seminar organized by the Egyptian Ifta House on intellectual security.
This seminar is an important chance to fix misconceptions caused by social media and AI uses, he stressed.
